Plain-language privacy
Your work stays yours.
Anything you type, paste, calculate or open in a KitLumo utility stays on the phone, tablet or computer you are using. It is not sent to us, and we do not save a copy. This page explains the small amount of separate information that the website records.
Information used inside a tool
Every tool currently available runs on your device. Text, passwords, calculations and files used inside a tool are not uploaded to KitLumo. We cannot see them and we do not keep a copy.
If you save a favourite tool or open a tool recently, that shortcut is stored in your browser on this device. It is not stored in KitLumo’s server records.
Traffic measurement
For each page view, KitLumo records the time, page path, referring website hostname and a broad device type (desktop, mobile, tablet or crawler). The traffic log does not store your IP address, full referring URL or browser fingerprint.
To estimate how many visitors use the site on one day, KitLumo makes a rotating one-way code from connection details. The source IP address is not saved, the code changes every day, and it is not used to follow people across days or create visitor profiles. These totals are visible only in the protected admin portal.
Feedback and tool requests
When you submit a report or request, KitLumo stores your message, the relevant page or tool, the submission time and your email address only if you choose to provide it. Use the Report a problem box on the home page if you want your submission removed.
Advertising
KitLumo is designed to stay free through clearly labelled advertising and optional donations. The Google AdSense code is configured on the website, but Google decides whether ads are approved and served. When advertising is served, Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to deliver and measure ads.
KitLumo does not use advertising as a reason to collect the contents of your calculator entries, text or files. The site uses a Google-certified consent message for visitors in regions where Google or the law requires consent, and your advertising choice can affect which ads are shown.
